Bubblegum Classic

At first glance, Bubblegum Classic seems like the typical string quartet that includes 2 violins, a viola, and a cello. But they don't just play classical music. They play it with a twist. They use bubblegum pop elements; such as danceable beats, repetitive melodies, major keys, as well as brand new arrangements to classics. These classics include, but are not limited to, pieces by Bach, Vivaldi, and Tchaikovsky. Their pop influences are "The Jackson Five", "The Spice Girls", and "The Monkees".

Their History:
Bubblegum Classic met back in 1993 when they were in a pre-school ballet class together. Like the other girls in their class, they loved pop music. But, unlike the rest of the class, they also had an affinity for the classical music played in their class. They have been best friends ever since then. The idea for their group came in 2002 when they all signed up for a middle school orchestra class and learned to play instruments. They decided to combine their hobbies of listening to and playing music and formed Bubblegum Classic. They perform at birthday parties, wedding ceremonies & receptions, graduations, concert venues, and more! They have been performing as a group since 2004 and haven't stopped since!
